It delivers a big chunk of the Oppressor's abilities in a far classier body, for $5,750,000. The downside: it's less armored than the Toreador, so it rewards cautious flying over a head-on duel. The favorite toy for lovers of clean lines.

The Batmobile of Los Santos. The Vigilante (Smuggler's Run, 2017) bets everything on its jet boost: it's the fastest-accelerating vehicle in the game, capable of reaching absurd speeds on a straightaway. It carries front-mounted machine guns that are lethal in free roam and PvE, for $3,750,000. It stays on the ground and keeping it stable at full speed takes skill, but for losing the cops or bearing down on a target, nothing else compares.

The poor man's tank, and the king of heist prep. The Insurgent Pick-Up Custom (Gunrunning, 2017) soaks up an insane amount of damage and carries a turret for a passenger. Armored to the teeth, it's perfect for hauling supplies, defending a business or surviving a hostile lobby. Budget about $2,000,000 ($1,795,500 plus the workshop conversion). Its one limitation: the mounted gun needs a teammate, so solo you're left with just the armor. A team pick.

The most cost-effective weaponized vehicle in the game. The Nightshark (Gunrunning, 2017) is an armored SUV that survives multiple explosives, protects the driver behind bulletproof windows and can take front machine guns you fire from the wheel, no teammate needed. All for just $1,245,000. For a new player who finally wants to stop getting blown up, it's the best first armored buy, long before dreaming of a flying bike.

The solo player's best friend. The Sparrow (Cayo Perico, December 2020) is a small helicopter that can be fitted with machine guns or homing missiles, is called in from the Kosatka submarine and makes the Cayo Perico heist far smoother. At $1,815,000, it's the cheapest air support that actually matters, ideal for scouting, clearing an area or escaping by air.
